Our Heat Pump manufacturing qualities and standards
Designing and producing hard-working equipment demands that we both understand and respect the environment on several levels - in creating heat pumps that produce optimal COP values, by testing equipment under extreme conditions in climate chambers, in selecting environmentally-safe materials, and in manufacturing equipment resistant to the corrosive effects of the environment.
The designs of our hard-working heat pumps bear witness to their Industrial HVAC pedigree, expressing and evolving further their considerable inheritance.
Bodywork and chassis material
304L standard brushed stainless steel comes as standard as the bodywork for all our pump casings. This makes them robust as well as protecting against the external corrosive elements of the environment.
Plated Heat Exchanger
316L standard Stainless steel heat exchangers offer the best calorific exchange and a long working life.
Compressor Technology
Using the latest available technologies, for our high temperature heat pumps, notably the Copeland EVI (vapour injection technology). .
Control Functions
Regulation is achieved by electronics which manage particular outgoing water temperature settings, and as appropriate automatically adjusting to the external air temperature (for example, the control functions of the house heat pump can be set to raise the interior heating output by one-degree for every degree drop in the exterior air temperature). Defrosting cycles are also managed by the regulator electronics.
Defrosting capabilities
Very effective in cold or humid weather, defrosting is achieved by activating a short period of ‘cycle inversion’.
Sound Levels

Ease of Maintenance
We have worked with our distributors and installation professionals to produce pumps that are easy to maintain; designing the internal pipe work and electrical circuitry for simplicity of maintenance (with accessible, industry standard electrical components and clear wiring circuits) & longevity (designs that don't depend on irreplaceable electronic circuit-boards); facilitating the installers maintenance and replacement of any components that fall outside of warranty periods, extending the life and performance of our industrial pedigree product.

Warranties
Aside from happily providing any ongoing technical assistance required by our heat pump distributor network, the 'return to factory' warranties on components (scroll compressors, etc.) match the time frames set by our own suppliers on their respective components. Thus our heat pump and component guarantees are:
- Two years in respect of parts recognised as defective by SDEEC,
- Five years ant-corrosion warranty on the Stainless Steel bodywork and chassis, and
- Five years on all Titanium parts.
